Spring will come....
A note written one cold evening in winter in the midst of frustrations:
The frosty wailing winds in the bleak days of winter seem like an eternal curse. The barren sky is a desert devoid of birds. The early morning wooly mists feel like swarms of stinging bees. The earth looks like the blacksmith's anvil and the water is as tough as the sledgehammer. Activities are restricted, actions are constricted and thoughts are icebound. The naked trees with their naked soul stand in agony. The trees, that were once genial green stands in an icy silence impelling the question 'why?' It makes one wonder, would they have screamed if they could have. Early hours of morning people huddle around tea shop, with a glass of tea wrapped around their palms, trying to get a comfort from some heat conducted from the hot glass. The dank evening pervades early and people make a little fire from the remains and other stuffs saved, scavenged and they cuddle around it in a close circle. Their cold hand outstretched towards the small blazing fire to steal a wee bit of warmth. Darkling, blanket seems like it will keep us warm and it is our friend. Yet thoughts are drifted towards the dread that they might cover us in darkness forever. The battle rages against the unpleasant chills of the winter that burns the bones with a blazing sear. A second feels like an hour an hour feels like a day, yet we try to believe in the quote 'nothing lasts forever'.
We all live our life in winter with a hope, a glimmering hope that keeps us going against the laments of winter, the hope of spring. In every winter of our lives the reason remains the same, to look forward for that moment when we can see the splendors of spring once again. Spring will come, spring will come and it is bound to come. The blessing of spring will surely come around with the bountiful pleasure of nature at its pinnacle. The meadows will flourish once again, bringing forth the supple leaves and confetti of flowers. The emerald green will bring the warm thoughts with green shades. The clear skies of the spring, the chirping of the birds, the song of the tiny hummingbirds, the flock of cranes, the spring torrents, the rippling of the leaves as a gust of spring wind blows through the swaying trees, the spectrum the blooming colorful flowers that imparts the sweet fragrance in the mild air, the buzz of the busy bees, the grace of butterflies...
